About Blackwater Robotics
Blackwater Robotics is a FIRST Robotics Competition team associated with Franklin High School in Franklin, Virginia.
In partnership with teams 2363 Triple Helix and 5957 CAT 5 CyberCanes, we help to produce the Rumble in the Roads FRC off-season event each fall. This event brings teams from up and down the east coast to Hampton Roads for a single-day competition with relaxed rules.
Blackwater Robotics competes in the FIRST Chesapeake district. This district is composed of all FRC teams from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Each team competes in two district qualifier events to earn district points. Teams who Earn a sufficient number of district points are invited to compete in the District Championship, and can subsequently move on to the World Championship.
